The definition of the flower itself indeed fits its background in a very appealing way, Linda, not only because of the echo-like look of thge shadows, but also because of the good contrast in which the flowers stands to them. They enhanced its contours and made it appear crispy and very strongly colored too. A very well balanced exposure again.

Hey Linda,
you do this kind of photography rather well don't you. So please keep doing this. Many, many years ago I had to learn something at school. It was something from a rather unknown poet who phrased : " A thing of beaty is a joy forever, etc..." It applies for this photo, suppose he saw your postings on UF...Tried it myself( flowershot and not poems) a few times but it doesn't work out :(
Perhaps I'm more on my ease in the forest with strange ladies ;)
