Entre el 2 de abril y el 14 de junio de 1982, Argentina libró contra Inglaterra, una estéril guerra por las Islas Malvinas. Si bien los Argentinos consideramos genuino el derecho sobre las islas, el fin de esa guerra iniciada por el gobierno de facto, fue perpetuar una cruenta dictadura militar que en ese entonces gobernaba por la fuerza al país y que tanto dolor y muerte le trajo a nuestro pueblo. Jóvenes argentinos y soldados ingleses murieron inútilmente en el atlántico sur.
Yo recuerdo que por aquella época estas pantallas de comunicaciones militares aparecieron silenciosa y misteriosamente en cercanías de mi pueblo, lejanas e inaccesibles. Hoy aún están ahí, como mudo testimonio de aquellas épocas de miedo. Todavía hoy la gente no se acerca. El otro día mi curiosidad me venció, y luego de pedir permiso a un celoso propietario, me llegué hasta ellas, y bueno, aquí están, ya desactivadas, (esto lo sabemos muy pocos) aún rodeadas de misterio, pero ya no de miedo.
Por mi parte no me puedo resistir a la tentación de poner mis foto en algún mundo paralelo o dimensión desconocida, :-) en fin, ya se me pasará!

"El 16 de noviembre de 1974, Frank Drake y Carl Sagan emitieron desde el radio telescopio de Arecibo, un mensaje que duró solo tres minutos y que fue dirigido hacia el conglomerado globular
de 300,000 estrellas llamado M-13, que se encuentra a 25,000 años luz de la Tierra en nuestra galaxia la Vía Láctea. Aunque había sistemas más cercanos, las condiciones de éste sistema le favorecían por el extenso número de estrellas. Este mensaje forma un pictograma
de 23 caracteres de ancho por 73 de largo que describe gráficamente la composición química de elementos vitales, el ADN, la figura humana, incluyendo una escala de estatura, nuestro sistema
solar y el propio radiotelescopio de Arecibo. Desde aquel momento muchos mensajes nuevos fueron enviados a los confines del cosmos, los años pasan, pero el universo sigue sin responder..."
