la tía Alzira tiene una fuerte personalidad sin duda, seguro que como el sobrino: hay muchas cosas que me gustan Luis: el ángulo, la distorsión, el foco sobre las manos y la gran composición; sólo rebajaría las altas luces del camisón y quizás recortaría un poco por la izquierda; pero un gran retrato de todas formas Luis un abrazo....txules

It reminds me of a new photo collection I saw in National Geographic about the way blind people "see", Luis! The contrast of light and darkness puts the old woman in the very center of interest. It would have a more integral character if her head was not cut, but still a very stunning one, especially for her expression that was captired so well under the low light. Her face half in shadow and her hands peacefully put over each other really add that kind of power that we find in the peaceful attitude.

Masterful shading. Maybe txules is right about the hilights but the shiny satin is saying something I think. I can feel that and her hands.
