About I tried to frame my own self portrait
into a three-minute one-act play
But I'm a carnival of voices
it's hard to pin me down that way
without my subconscious saying

"I'm not in love with you,
but I'd be willing to make a change.
It's these profound fits of sunshine
that bring on subsequently rain."

"If I could make a suggestion -"
I say, `Oh, this should be nice'
"The middle ground is partly sunny,
Now take my good advice,
nobody's out here throwing rice yet
But me and the voices inside of your head
all agree..."

and I say, `Since we're all here talking -
You think I'm afraid of you?
Well, I'm afraid I think you're right...
I've never been good at crowd control
Your voices keep me up all night' `Now, I'm no psychiatrist
though I'm known for Freudian slips
I'd like to thank my Id and Ego
for the roller coaster trip
and if my memory will permit me
I'd like to remember to keep you voices
out of my head...'

Srna Stankovic   {K:102061} 3/24/2008
You really might become a model too Visar ... naturally born for that too ... dramatic indeed !
Hug,
Srna

visar sherifi   {K:16779} 3/24/2008
oh my dear Srna, i have to say it never occurred in my mind, and now you got me confused!! do not really know what to say, whether should i consider it or not?!!-
but then, one thing i know that i am getting to know much, even about myself- and it feels so good!
oh and one thing, i think i know, is that models have to have that face, shaved, like the pure skin of the butt of an enfant! somewhat i feel that sort of narrows down my choices of thinking about it!
in fact, no, i do not like that!! neither do i think i will be fit for that!!

but thanks anyway, it gives me such a nice feeling to know your attitude on what i do show through my images!

regards,
v.

Srna Stankovic   {K:102061} 3/24/2008
You always show so very much Visar and your sceptic nature is good on the one hand and on the other ... who knows ?! ;)))
Good luck,
Srna

visar sherifi   {K:16779} 3/25/2008
well, i think i know!! though, you might know it too; i mean, see, you already found the bright side of a sceptic!! so, the unstated 'dark' side would do some sort of equillibrum!! don't you think?

thanks for your psychoanalyses, ;)- seems like i do not have to bother for a proffesional one; not at least while there are frinds in UF that would care about that!

It does contain a heavy hell of a load of tension despite its seeming calmness, Visar! The direct observation of something that must be just the pictures in the own mind projected on thin surrounding air, which then build up a manifold of swining scenes rolling back and forth without end. And the observer of the own mind cannot jump away and observe it from the outside. Always bound to be inside. Himself a part of the scenes he generates!

I find the existance of the so many frustrating details so strong, since the creator and observer of the scene doesn't concentrate on them. He just looks to something that seems to be behind and over me, when I look at the image. You absorb the spectator into the photo, Visar! And then I can pose the question, where am I, who am I, and the answer seems to be seen only by the creator and observer, and he is too absorbed to speak any answer. But perhaps the answer is unimportant too. Existential, didn't I meantion that before?

Cheers!

Nick

Always good to not only see the face of the artist but also how the artist perceives himself.
Regards, Gary

visar sherifi   {K:16779} 3/25/2008
you do say much of what i cannot articulate, Nick, without going into 'psychobubblogy' (as you would say)- of which i am utterly grateful,

thanks, and cheers,

Nick Karagiaouroglou   {K:84841} 3/26/2008
You are only and always welcome, Visar! And I thank you for such images that do turn much of the gear in my mind. Psychobubblogy is what appears when for example there aren't such images to give us a real kick! (Then we sing the usual hymnes to beauuhuhutiful flowers, you know ;-))

All the best and keep it up!!

Nick

2 packets cigarettes in 10 hours... stayed awake during the whole night...thinking thinking...the last cigarette...the world is still unsolved...looking for the bed...many stuffs on it...down with them...crawling under the blanket...the first sunshine...the eye closes...

visar sherifi   {K:16779} 4/7/2008
... and into- tuned, fixed, armless but aimless with a push unknown to the unknown.
and as eyes open, they could see or stare- just a mere existence- like a joy stick, in between the fingers, becoming a clown indulged in a toy-
or, am i 'banalising' your thought, Kaveh?
thanks for your comment.

Annemette Rosenborg Eriksen   {K:55368} 4/9/2008
Powerful words in connection with your honest portrait so full of doubts, sorrow, questions - it doesn“t ruin the photo that you look very attractive;-), but the depth, the strong sense of naked life really hits me here.

that's right, if one stays in toilettes, that's lifelessness-- especially if selfindulged in the beauty of his/ her shell, ;)
glad to hear back from you dear blueeyed,
