Nice shot Keith, personally mate i find it a little to busy at the bottom right, and that modern building just creeping into the frame on the right looks a little out of place, but overall a good shot mate.

Best Regards.

Ian...

Very nice shot, I like the angle and composition. Perfect exposure creating a very deep tonal range

jacques brisebois   {K:57607} 3/25/2008
great dramatic looking capture, very nice use of sepia tone, great composition, a real nice work.

Ray Pollard   {K:3640} 3/25/2008
Nice one Sainty, but I agree with Ian about that modern building though mate....

Keith Saint   {K:11013} 3/26/2008
Yes Ray i have to agree with you both on this
i find it a bit distracting and said as much when taking it.
The problem with this place is its surrounded by 20th century buildings and you have to keep to a tight path so cropping is very hard.
If I cropped to much of the left side I would loss more detail from the lower left part and i wanted to retain as much as I could.
For me a tighter crop on the building would not be as good a composition.
Some carefull burning might be the answer but thats a bit of a faf
Or I could say I wanted an element of the new mixing with the old and that would get me off the hook Ha Ha!!!

I like it very much, Keith. I wonder how hard it would be to remove the building on the left...?
