I have really, really liked so many of your shots - but this one has to be one of my top favorites out of all that you have uploaded. (So, I have zipped it in to my favorites folder) Colors, details, composition, the water treatment - sky, clouds, rocks - it all came together in to this one fantastic shot. It seems to me that this would fit so well in the Patterns in Nature project. This would make a lovely wall hanging. Jan

RAW.. Can I ask how you convert em.. cos PS doesnt seem to want to.. and in nthe Canon S/Ware you can only save them as TIF I seem to remember... the into PS then work on them... seems a bit tedious as a workflow... shott me an email if ya want

Superb. 1s is perfect exp for this.. the small whirls formed by the water and the slow shutter makes this a treat. More than 1 sec wouldn't have got these.
These are the learnings from watching a pro's work.

Wow, Peta. What a great shot! Beautifully composed with interesting features at well placed points all tied together with those fascinating swirls of water. I echo the person who said you got the exposure just right. There's a clear sense of the water in movement but none of that dreamy, milky, smoothed out water cliche (ugh!). Of course Nature helped by putting that mini Matterhorn there at the end of the beach! Wide angles are great, aren't they!!

All of the other comments have said it before. It's certainly an eye-catcher, sharp and vibrant, well done. I like your wedding shots alot too. I've just strted, over the last few years to do weddings, so am still learning. Any advice you could give me would be much appreciated. There are some of my efforts in my wedding portfolio for one to peruse at ones leisure.
