Beautiful and coherent composition, Debjit! The lighting is to die for! I can only debate about the small highlight in the top right which distracts a bit. Is it the sun or flare?
Eb

Debjit Ghosh   {K:3195} 4/3/2008
Eb, this shot is at sunrise and the highlight you are talking about is the actually the setting moon in the backdrop :-)

ANANDA NIYOGI   {K:2367} 4/10/2008
Excellent landscape shot. Debjit I am looking for a tripod for my Nikon D70. Can you please recommend a tripod and a head. I am asking you because I have not seen a better landscape photographer in Usefilm than you. Also you have been highly recommended by my friends Avi and Deb. Thanks a lot in advance.

Debjit Ghosh   {K:3195} 4/11/2008
Hi Ananda, I use velbon what what i use as a camera and lens combination but there are many options available in the market today...manfrotto is a nice choice...u have to see what load, including camera and lens, you want to put on the tripod...as for d70 and consumer lens, any tripod which has the capacity of 4-6lbs should do the job just fine...

ANANDA NIYOGI   {K:2367} 4/11/2008
Thanks Debjit. I was looking at Manfrotto 725B model. It has a ball head and can hold about 8 lbs. I think a ball head is better than a 3 way head. Do you agree to that.

Tim  Schumm   {K:26869} 4/11/2008
Wow...some awesome shots to behold. I have been off in the bush lately not able to keep up with what you are doing as of late so it is wonderful to see all the new ones in one bunch.
