About I managed to get one as I wanted it to be, with a deep blue sky and a great contrast against the walls of the church. I think the key was that this one was shot early in the morning, when the sunlight is not as bright. Any comments would be very welcome.

Excelente la composición y me gustan muchos los detalles logrados a partir de los duros y nítidos contrastes.
Felicitaciones!

Thanks a lot for the nice comment, Gustavo!

Though I am ambivalent about composition, I think too that it is the hard contrasts that mainly make up this one.

Cheers!

what can i say. spot on. perfect light, perspective/ composition, contrast, details.... and everything about it.
and i need to point out that the deep blue sky is really striking--- of course, no less than the detail on the face of the building.

cheers,
v.

I must say that I consider this one as one of my best exposures ever, Visar, while I do retain some ambivalence towards composition. It shows well what it shows, but I still think if it should show something more or less or differently - well...

As about that sky, oh yes! I am especially glad for that color since I don't use any filters at all (purist soul) and I realize that such a sky is possible without any artificial add-ons on the camera. It is much like the joy of being able to play like Randy Rhoads without an overkill of sound effects for caching my own inability to play as well, ey? ;-) This is why I am so happy with that - for once in my life I "played well" the sky song.

Cheers!

Nick
