The black and white tonality is good! There is a lot of charm in the pose, which seems to indulge the photographer! The pose is also dynamic with the slight tilt of the head and the incongruity of the large helmet. I can't see much to improve since the crop puts the face in good proportion and also allows room for the draping of the big coat which is important for the humour and charm.
