About The Parking Lot at Clingman's Dome offers
the perfect spot to Shoot the Fall Sunset against the layered Mountain's in Smokey Mountain National Park...The View is incredible and the Wind and Cold is always present as this is the highest point in the Park...Show up about an hour before Sunset to get a good spot as it gets very crowded and almost Carnival-like as the Sun sets among the Mountains...Definitely the place to be...

If they had hiked up like you, they would not be ahead of you, right?

It reminds me of Glacier Point in Yosemite. That is an awful lot of hardware being set up. Great shot!
