About thanks to Felix and his abnormal driving skills it took us about 30 hrs to get to Zagreb, instead of 15 max (he'll go mad if he found out that i said that).
it was a very bad weather- as you'll see in a few upcoming shots and our brave Fiat Panda could hardly keep the wheels on the asphalt, the whirling wind and snow shook it all over- so we had to stop over the night and rest for a about 8 hrs until all the wind was calm.

OK, ok he's really great driver and a crazy guy who wears green pants and talks a lot- never boring but rather a challenging company who burns for action. that's the spirit.
Luke, very unpredictable- a lovely snake, and very creative in his (french)english dictionary... i couldn't laugh aloud when he spoke but looked away or at my nails. but that's only of his accent and words- not the ideas.

So, here is the brief introduction to Felix, Luke and Fiat Panda.

and i do have few reserves about the photo, but... did not have a better one- all inclusive as this one. oh, and I could not entrust the camera anyone, so i am behind. (silly ;))

thanks for viewing.

A very "real" image, Visar, in the sense of documenting the happenings the direct way. The whole composition seems to stand for that, as it has that kind of "reality" that a picture in some newspaper has. And I find it quite down to earth but also strong exactly because of that. There is enough detail and mood for conveying what was on, but not any kind of exaggeration of flashy effects. I think that your timing contributed a lot to that certain attitude together with the light that I think gave you a more than hard situation ot capture. But you did pretty well, as the reflections of the cars, the good contrast of the bridge pylon against the background (white in white!), and the very good details on the faces of the guys show. (The latter despite the fact that they are not as near to your lens.)

Quite a good job!

Nick

yeah, Nick, this serie is more of 'less drilling' into whatever phenomena, as say, putting yourself on a stand. It is more of showing, with no intention of going beyond what eyes meet, more relaxed and less headaches ;)

cheers,

I think that there is no better "beyond what meets the eye" than to let something look its own way, Visar. The solos of Eddie Van Halen (quite contrary to what most people believe) sound so special/authentic because he doesn't try to impress. He just plays! And he plays exactly and neatly.

Cheers!

Nick
