It looks like it got pretty beat up by strong winds dear Michele. Is that right? Great balance of the foreground with the background where you can clearly see a tree that is ready to bloom for spring. Outstanding tones my dear friend. (I must become a member so I can add you to my friend's list)

Well Julie I swore I would NOT tell the tree's story but some of the strong winds we had ( & have)) did have a lot to do with it ...:))

nice shot and mostly because the subject Michele... looks like hit by a thunder or even a very strong wind, sad image and so the greyscale works fine for me.
