Mark Julian   {K:35465} 4/8/2008
AWWW MAN !!! Look at that HOT MAMA !!! I'm booking with QANTAS right now - SEE YOU SOON MY LOVE BUG (some things just can't wait !!!)
Note to txules, that's not sceptic, that's Peta seeing if I'm coming up the drive - holding breath, with massive ANTICIPATION...
(great shot Peta, I LOVE IT !!! 7 from me - but the babe in the photo gets a 10 !!!)
so slide over here/and give me a moment.......

Ardalan Haddad   {K:13934} 4/8/2008

As usual, you have taken a moment into your photo collection...

Great to see you,

All the bests,
Cheers,
Ardalan...

More like looking to the future with wonder and awe.

Marco Maresca   {K:14415} 4/8/2008
Beautiful girl!

Clive Carter   {K:8475} 4/8/2008
I'm sorry but to me the skin tone is lacking in contrast. For me, it is too grey and muddy looking. If you have photoshop, using the levels & curve commands would make some improvements to the contrast.
The pose is reasonable but IMHO it would have been better had she been looking straight at the camera.
I hope you don't mind but I took the liberty of making some adjustments trying to make some improvement which I hope you find acceptable!

Gary Hill   {K:33604} 4/8/2008
Unlike Clive, I like you not looking at the camera, it's a lovely sultry pose.
Regards, Gary

Anne Knes   {K:48840} 4/8/2008
You are beautiful Peta.
kisses anne...

fotogr@vi     {K:52910} 4/8/2008
Isn't the focus somewhere on the left sleeve ? Intentional ?

Rob Graziano   {K:6137} 4/8/2008
What a great shot of you! Love the pose & love the look! The lighting & tones are great!

Rob Graziano   {K:6137} 4/8/2008
Clive...I think your monitor may be out of adjustment and needs to be calibrated. Peta's picture looks great, while the one you uploaded looks washed out. What kind of monitor do you have?

Claudia Perilli   {K:28670} 4/8/2008
Beautiful portrait.

Claudia

Dan Wilson   {K:13611} 4/8/2008

marky .

Clive Carter   {K:8475} 4/8/2008
I am using a iMac and calibrated my screen about a month ago.
I find most images look pretty good but a fair majority of B&W prints look too grey or flat especially those that have been converted from color to B&W.

p e t a .   {K:18267} 4/8/2008
Thank you Txules - I'm definately in a personal situation that has me feeling apprehensive. People tell me I give so much away with my expression, so it's interesting you tuned in so well :)

p e t a .   {K:18267} 4/8/2008
Hi Clive, thank you for your thoughts! My complexion is very tanned at the moment, so I think that might contribute to the lack of contrast.

p e t a .   {K:18267} 4/8/2008
Cheers Gary, thank you for that. Its always a little scary putting one's self out there like this - so your thoughts are most appreciated!

p e t a .   {K:18267} 4/8/2008
Kisses to you too, thank you so much!

p e t a .   {K:18267} 4/8/2008
Eyes are in focus Avi, that was my intention as always with portraits.

p e t a .   {K:18267} 4/9/2008
Thanks Robbie, hope you're having a better week than last.

Clive Carter   {K:8475} 4/9/2008
I believe there is a difference in contrast between a PC & MacIntosh computers. When I was on a PC and made critique on photo's produced on a Mac I received much the same comments regarding the contrast.
The image I adjusted isn't as good as I would like, but it doe's look better on my screen than the original posted version.
I may try again (if you don't mind) and see if I can get it as near perfect as I can, just to get more practice with photoshop :-)
Working from the original color version would be better but I will see what I can do.

Clive Carter   {K:8475} 4/9/2008
Here is another adjusted copy - doe's this look washed out on your screen?
Your opinion would be much appreciated before I re-calibrate my screen.

Roger Skinner   {K:63298} 4/9/2008

You look anxious.

Stace Walker   {K:4009} 4/9/2008
Apprehensive, anxious, skeptic, whatever. There's so much emotion in this picture I could cry if I stared too long.
Gorgeous as always, hun.

p e t a .   {K:18267} 4/10/2008
Anytime Claude! Thank you x

p e t a .   {K:18267} 4/10/2008

Tim  Schumm   {K:27167} 4/13/2008
despite the pensive look you are always beautiful...life is a pendulum so when you are at the bottom the only place to go is up. You just have to be patient.
All the best.
Tim
