Hello Claudia! It looks like You put a lot of effort in this shot. The model is pretty, very good make up and the slight tilt to the head works well. I think the biggest shortcoming here is the lighting. The bright spots on the forehead are not flattering, neither is the big reflection on her lower lip. If I may suggest, sometimes using bigger diffuser on Your light, putting a fill card to counterbalance the effects work wonders. One more thing I would include the shoulders in this picture, the photo as it is, appears like the top and bottom edges of the picture are getting tighter and tighter and at some point they will crush Your model's head.

I think that you should contact Paul Lara http://www.usefilm.com/photographer.asp?id=30611 for a test photosession in fashion/beauty with this one, Claudia! The face is just about perfectly exposed! And those make-up hues are really a lot of a work to capture right! The composition is also almost free of any problems, except perhaps for some smaller issues considering the "too little" inclusion of her neck. The timing is also very well done here - did she pose? Last but not least I must mention the very nicely fitting background that adds both importance on her face due to your perfectly done focus separation, as also tension because of the contrast of harder to softer looks.
Here I must say, hat off, and best wishes for your next steps in this kind of photography!

Cerco di recuperare: ottimo ritratto davvero! Vedo che hai preso la 400D, come ti trovi? L'ho comprata anche io come secondo corpo macchina, oltre la 350D, e devo dire che mi trovo piuttosto bene... Ciao!

Questa l'ho solamente provata tra le macchine a disposizione che erano al Photoshow (ho provato anche una della Sony e la 3D della Nikon)... comunque la conosco benino perché ce l'ha il mio fidanzato... e ogni tanto la uso e come macchina mi piace molto. Ciao
