Nice shot, I love the colours. I think your focus point should have been a little higher than the base line though

to tell you the truth I would have liked to see the whole picture in focus because to me the more interesting part is the upper part of the picture. I see the red flower at the bottom but there is not much seperating it to give to contrast or anything...at least not for me

I agree with you. But, it was shooted with Sigma 150/2.8 at evening. If I used apperture around 8 or more - I never get crisp picture due to wind and too long shutter speed value. I was without tripod.

Imho, it this variant the moment of art is presenting also.

If you threw the whole photo out of focus and eliminated the poppy this would be a much more attractive image.The blues,pinks and greens in the top third combine quite nicely.Adding just a touch of grain might be worth a try too.
