Tamara, welcome to UF. The purpose of posting photographs on the internet (as far as I am concerned) is to get feed back and to learn how to better ones photography. Many people will praise your work no matter how faulty it may be. Some are only interested in gaining points which are valueless but we can learn a lot from those that give a true and honest critique of ones submissions.
As a portrait, the face and eye's in particular are out of focus. The focussed area is near your right hand and the camera.
I guess you would have used a fairly wide aperture as the depth of focus is very small. It would have been much better had you used a smaller aperture, much more would have then appeared to be in focus.
However, this is quite a good attempt but it could be much better.
