Thanks for the comments C Man. The F-828 is a great camera I bought almost 2-3 years ago and still takes good no nonsense outdoor shots. It does struggle under low light and at high ISOs noise starts to show. I am beginning to see the limits of this camera especially when trying out my friends Canon's SLR 5D and 40D with various lenses. Gotta get one end of the year and join the SLR junkies!
Regards,
Ram

Hello Ram,

Yes the 828 is a very nice camera but yes I will admit it does have it's limitations. I still wish I had mine though even though I now have a Sony A100 DSLR. The A100 is a great camera but it's a little more complicated then the 828...thing I don't like about a DSLR is you can't see the changes you make on the LCD. Only way on a DSLR to see your changes is to set the camera take the photo and then review the shot you just took where as the 828 you could see the image becoming darker or lighter on the LCD before you take the photo.
But I will say 10.2 mp is a nice step up and the fact you can change lenses is pretty awesome. That was always the worst part of the 828 was only being able to zoom to 200mm.
Take care my friend.
