A fine landscape, Joggie. When I saw the thumbnail "river" came to mind - so the title seemed appropriate. Then I read your "about" comment and saw that it actually is a seasonal river! A unique landscape!

Very nice composition the way you've got the grove of trees in the bend of the "river", Joggie! Great colour contrasts, too.
Nicely done!
Dave.

Hi Avi
Thanks for commenting. I am not sure yo which smokey areas you refer. If it is the grey-brown areas in the reed bed, it is just the different colour and textures displayed by different parts of the plants exposed to the eye. Hope it clarifies? Regards.

Nice landscape, I like your title...yes, that is truth as the vivid bright brown of the reeds looks like a rive into a place that is...just a dream to be a real river, very nice idea that one! sharpness also is good into the plants EVEN for that long distance, the small details looks pretty well!

Joggie, I have never seen before a real yellow river! Thanks for sharing.
Take care.

Giuseppe

Nice landscape, Joggie! Certainly the eye movement is captivated, following the reeds to the upper left bush and back to the massed bushes in front. I also like the colour pallet with subtle tonal differences.
