Opie having a great time running off-leash in the Cache Creek Natural Area on the Redbud Trail. The area is inhabited by black bear, mountain lion, elk and many other critters - fortunately Opie didn't have any encounters with them!! Sorry it appears a bit noisy - this was cropped to about 25% of original size.

Thank you so much, Jen. I like your idea of him catching up to me... but I know you are joking :) He is always ahead of me and I have to call him back, as in this shot. He is pretty happy but also cautious as he has run into other dogs in the past while off leash and quickly turned around crying for his momma to pick him up, so now he listens to me before he goes running off into the unknown... lol

Hi sweetie!!!I'm sure that you love your freedom even when you have a lot of dangerous animals arround you Opie:))))!!Excellent shot and it works very well with the project Brigitte!!!I like the focus on him and his lovely face expression!!Hope that he will never encounter a black bear or an other critter!!!
