About Hi all...another fly by post.
Am still very busy but sat up late last night and tried a new technique.
I have no new photos to post and so was working with nits you have all seen before and may recognise.
Hope you are all well and enjoying yourselves.
We are going thru some changes here at home and are gradually adjusting to a different set-up....I am being vague I know, but anyhoo....moving on.

cheers

Hi Stan,
Thanks so much for your kind comment, I have been playing around with lots of my old work, trying some new things with layers and such.
Hope you are well,
cheers, Beks

combination shower screen and portrait shot.. well realised concept expresses deeper things to me .. hold on...

rebecca claassen   {K:16334} 4/27/2008
You got it Rog...:P
Thanks for the words... B

just refilled my glass.. with red.. this is a very telling image.. the narrative reflecting the current changes ..which I have no idea about.. truly a clever work.. the surreal colours of the present are shrill loud and opaque dare I say it almost posterised.. no detail given as if the layers of makeup will hide all and they are almost at tearing point. Meanwhile the lonely figure in the background trapped in a bell jar holding up a hand to say stop and end this however as I said a figure in the background reduced and silent.. and as I said a moment ago.. hold on...

rebecca claassen   {K:16334} 4/27/2008
more red? you didn't spill it did you? or do you just have a very small glass?

rebecca claassen   {K:16334} 4/27/2008
yes, alas briefly Shirley :(...but I have so little time these days, it is really annoying actually...hope all is well with you..I made my first fairie picture yesterday (I thought of you the whole time :) )...

hugs, Beks

fantastic one!

Qite a disturbing image, rebecca, but perfectly realised. The composition and contrast, and lurid colours all hint at troubles beneath the surface. A fine piece of work.

Shirley D. Cross   {K:138424} 4/27/2008
All is well with me, thank you. I'll be gone for awhile to take care of my Sweetheart, who is having surger on his shoulder. I'll be able to comment, but not post. I would like to see that fairie picture.:)))

oooh, oooh, oooh...wicked Bek! Good to see you post. :)

I am not digging "vague"...causes a slight case of forehead wrinkling worry (and Lord knows there are enough wrinkles already). Whatever IT is, I know you have what it takes to get through IT!

Warm hugs to all...Robin
