Ian McIntosh   {K:38819} 4/28/2008
Beautiful when the elements slap a few changes over each other.
I'm seeing a womans form, a rite of spring?

Ian McIntosh   {K:38819} 4/28/2008
congrats of your century.

absynthius .   {K:17257} 4/28/2008
well, i cannot really say for sure, but i find a little 'willie' in there to :), though it looks to me also more of a woman- or the gesture at least.

oh, and thanks for the congradulations of the new century! ;)

WOW, this is interesting dude

You can see shapes of a female which come inside this frame with great tones, texture and a great impact.

Love the cracks, they add so much atmosphere to the shot making it real unique and very shot appealing for the eye.

Congrats dude on another great shot from you

Regards
B.L.

And a good one as well, dear Greeneye. A woman´s face in sorrow hidden in the dry soil mourning maybe for loved ones beneath or for the way the global warning is destroying the climate and life for so many living beings.
Simple with lots of meaning.

amazing for a texture... I think that looks like a landscape taken from very high... especialy the shapes of rive made by the color of that texture... the smashed parts gives more interesting to the texture.
be well Visar!

Nick Karagiaouroglou   {K:98595} 4/29/2008
I would just put that on my walls, Visar, and I would be able to look at if for hours, since it carries shape that escapes my eyes whenever I try to catch it, and returns back to me whenever I don't try to catch it. I have the impression that such are images that you just decide to look at, after some attempst to "understand" them.

Nonethelss, the restricted color palette and the associated "shapes" fit each other very well. I must say that those cracles are of big importance too. They add an apparent symmetry that disolves to nothing when I try to grasp it, in accordance to the shapes "behind" them.

Cheers!

Nick

thanks Mohamed,
i thought of it as more of a natural depiction/abstract/decoding rather than an artwork- for i think on an artwork one intervenes with the depiction!!? :)

cheers,
v.

absynthius .   {K:17257} 4/29/2008
oh, come on man!!
just reminded me of Charle Baudlaire 'we walk on symbols'! that is to say that if we look a bit closer around we might find wornders- like macrocosmos and microcosmos, in both there are dominant shapes! all it takes is see them!! ;)

cheers,
v.

absynthius .   {K:17257} 4/29/2008

absynthius .   {K:17257} 4/29/2008
it is always great hearing your interpretations dear Blueyed!
initially i thought of naming this shot 'spirit of the earth'-- but then thought taht having UF photographer friends giving their interpretation would be a greater thing!!

thanks a lot,
v.

absynthius .   {K:17257} 4/30/2008

Nick Karagiaouroglou   {K:98595} 5/1/2008
Great! Together with the movie, I'll have a small collection of "Visars".

And wait some years more, and then they will be the most hard to find pieces of your work! Which means that I could lend them to some local expositions, for a day or two. And for some neglidgible amount of $$$ that is! $-)

Cheers!

Nick
