Excellent portrait... well...the way he watching me (lol...the camera anyway) reminds me the Silence of the lamps... the movie with the Lector watching the polishwoman from his cage looollll.... just kidding hahaha... that is a great way of portraits, as the face is closed to the lens, the excpressions looks even better, even stronger and surely if you open that shot fastly you can...scared a bit! :-D
all these means one word...EXCELLENT!

A very good sense for expression, Pablo! Existentialistic expression, strong expression, quite the opposite of the many too many lightweight-brained "portraits" that we see in UF so often. This looks like a capture of the inner thoughts of that man, and that in such a strong contrast and detail!
The timing was just about perfect! It is the man as he is, and nothing additional. And it is this that brings all that impact.
But the image has also some problems. It seems to me that ther is a too strong amount of grainlike disturbancies here. The image received a sand-like look. (Look in the white of his eye to understand what I mean.) Same goes for almost all his face - there are hard deviations from normal that extend over a radius of just a few pixels. I tip on too much sharpening or raising contrast, but I am nit sure why that happened.
Still a good one, especially when looking from far!
