well the nail may be very useless, but it is very photogenic! ;)
the square crop of this image works really well here as it has captured the entire canvas beautifully under these light condition- which i find really great as it has also exposed the rather rich texture with lovely details and tones.

Morning my sweet friend, I know you love rust my dear, I saved one for for a special occassion..loll
These old holiday cabins on the beach from Muizenberg were wonderful to photograph, all different colours against the blue sea and mountains.....getting homesick for this;)
The weather here is not great at all, raining now and cold too, tomorrow is our Queens Day, so all parties at the street etc. I even to stay on a market to try to sell some of my pics, what about that?;)) I sold 7 last week, somehow people love the big elephants and like to see a lion on the wall, very happy with this, but lot of work to frame them etc. But tomorrow it will as well...soooo lets see what happens;)
Our trip will start on the 27th of June and yours?And is your hus ok now and totally recovered??

These beach houses are close to the water and of course very bad for the wood and iron, all starts rusting there, good place for you to see;)))
The colours looked great, many different colours all over the place, very happy place:))

Navond Alain, ik kwam deze tegen met nog wat andere grapjes aan de verkleedhokjes op het strand van Muizenberg, prachtige kleuren om
te fotograferen! Blij dat je het wat vindt;))
Morgen Koninginnedag, ga met wat foto's op de markt staan, kijken of dat aanslaat, maar er is
regen voorspeld, da's weer minder......

Amazing how the shadow differs from the original form... the shadow of the lower part of the nail looks so much longer than the upper part when in reality it is almost same length...
also good for the shadow project...
