About I hope the trees are strong enough as distances markes to the depth. Any comments would be very welcome.

Hmmmm, i think the blue/red/white of churche and sky are much stronger. Trees obstruct so indeed mark depth. Pse dont crop the church tower rooster :-(

A good view of the old church, Nick!
Dave.

Yes, that tip of the top of the church is quite a minus for this image, Wolf! I wish it would be there, too!

Do you mean that the stronger colors of the church and the sky are better as distance marks? Or that they absorb the eye so strongly that one doesn't look as much to the trees?

Thank you very much for the nice comment!

Nick

" Or that they absorb the eye so strongly that one doesn't look as much to the trees? " YES
but the sky and trees do create distance, without trees a lower perspective would be of help.

Thanks a lot agaon, Dave!

As Wolf said, I cut the tip of the top of it. Oh well!

Cheers!

Thanks a lot for the explanation, Wolf! I see what you mean now! And I can imagine what this would turn to without trees and from a lower perspective. I must try that!

Cheers!

Nick

Yeah, just cut the trees ;-)

Nick Karagiaouroglou   {K:85750} 5/17/2008
Exactly! I always carry a small ax with me. Some trees less for a good image - that's OK, I guess! Chop and shoot! Photographers are such peaceful human beings! ;-)

Cheers!

Sounds like a junk, all for my daily shot ;-)

Nick Karagiaouroglou   {K:85750} 5/18/2008
Most important thing is, it remains a daily shot!

Cheers!

Nick
