Hmmmm, i think the blue/red/white of churche and sky are much stronger. Trees obstruct so indeed mark depth. Pse dont crop the church tower rooster :-(

Yes, that tip of the top of the church is quite a minus for this image, Wolf! I wish it would be there,too!
Do you mean that the stronger colors of the church and the sky are better as distance marks? Or that they absorb the eye so strongly that one doesn't look as much to the trees?

but the sky and trees do create distance, without trees a lower perspective would be of help.

Exactly! I always carry a small ax with me. Some trees less for a good image - that's OK, I guess! Chop and shoot! Photographers are such peaceful human beings! ;-)
