About I tried to crop off the branches at the top left, or to clone them, but it didn't really work. It took the balnce away and weakened the sense of depth. So I am rather biased toward leaving them there. Any comments/critiques would be highly appreciated.

Great street shot, with excellent presepective!
Good angle Nick,
congratulations.

I like the trees still there, Nick, as it gives somewhat of a frame to the image along with the pole on the right hand side. I like your perspective here, too.
Dave.

Great line up of trees, and interesting shapes. Well done

Yes, even before reading your about, I was pleased that you left the left-hand branches in the frame, as it closes the lane in my mind. Very strong symmetry here. Good shot, Nick.

Great trees. I can understand why you would want to photograph them. They leed the eye nicely through the photo.

Thanks a lot for the nice comment, and especially about the branches at the left, Paul!

Nice to know that the opinions do converge here - at least up to now!
