This is a good question to start thinking about the physical process that gives rise to a rainbow. Most people have never noticed that the sun is always behind you when you face a rainbow, and that the center of the circular arc of the rainbow is in the direction opposite to that of the sun. Nicki. Did you and your camera get wet and that is why you have a new one. Hope not. I have no dought what Riny said is true but once, just once i had a rainbow shining on me. I was on a hill. Hey dear Nicki !! I think You got the hang of your new camera -lol!! This is beautiful - I love to see rainbows and I certainly have not always had the best of luck catching them :))

Indeed it was dramatic because I don't like thunderstorms and we were in the middle of the ocean...brrr!!! We were taken the ferry from St.Kitts to the island Nevis.Between two thunderstorm the sun was shining for some minutes.But the rainbow was so beautiful.Thank You my dear Srna,I do appreciate your kind comments so much....
