About Was it intentionally artistic, or did I perhaps forget to turn the 2nd strobe back on? Only my makeup artist knows for sure. ;)

3 more great add to your portfolio today Paul, particulary love the light in this one, very nice job.

Thank you, Jacques.

The answer to my own question was yes, I had forgotten to turn the key light on after re-positioning, and was startled at the single back-light effect on her lovely face. We explored this for several shots before I turned the soft-box back on. ;)

Paul all looks great so what a reason to check on your story. Like the contrast in this low key directional light portrait. Strong exaggerated Rembrandt triangle on her cheek that worked great for Rossi, cool relaxed pose. Cheers, NJ

Maryam,
I may 12,000 km away, but I will happily share everything I know with you, my friend.

On this particular shot, I was kneeling down and used just one light above and slightly behind Rossi.

The light was pointed to the left of the model, so it illuminated both her and the grey seamless.

If she is facing 12 o'clock, then my light was at 10 o'clock. (does that make sense?)

well done Paul

THIS IS STUNNING! I love low light, as you may have noticed haha!), and this is absolutely fantastic. The shot still gives her makeup justice because you can still see it. Beautiful peaceful pose.
