Good commercial for blue jeans Marty. I think it looks great when you look at it from that POV. Looks 3D. Fantastic job. Good song as well. As a family shot i would prefer to see in full colour as this young model of yours has a great complection. But you have already shown us that i suppose. Look at that. Im going crazier talking to myself lol. Well done Marty :)):) :)

OK well I already commented on this image but it seems to have been removed. Here goes again....

I think that the selective desaturation doesn't work here. The blue is too intense (over-saturated) and doesn't work with the subtle B+W tones everywhere else. I'd love to see this image in just B+W with a little curve adjustment because it has so much potential in my eyes without having to do what you have done here.

Great portrait, nice light (can't tell if you used fill or not although it looks like your model is facing the sun). If I were to be very picky I'd clone out the white post in the far background too, it's slightly distracting.

I hope that you don't take these comments as pure criticism, these are my first reactions when seeing the image.

Oh, sorry, I forgot to rate it too....

This is a nice shot, Martin.
With the majority of the shoot in B&W, I think it helps to desaturate the jeans by about 50%. They look over saturated to me.

Paul,

I'll give it a try.

Thank you my friend,

Martin

Martin great shot again.

I love bringing colour through B&W it just looks so amazing.

another great shot is get your model to put a flower in her hair or a headband in and bring the colour through. check out a shot of my daughter i took a couple of years back its in my profile, it would look amazing with this beautiful model.

Kind regards

Lee

modification isn't really good choice

Martin .   {K:23441} 5/8/2008
Lee,

LOL, your about the first to like this style. I simply love it, so I could care less about the rookies on this site... :)

What a great idea regarding the flower in her hair. I would have to use a blue one to make it kick ass... hehehe

I will check out your port very soon, but if you could link me with the exact page it would help...

Thank you very much my friend,

Martin
