Hey My brother,
I can't wait till you get to be back in AZ even if it is only for a short time. I really want you to see the New Home, We should be moving in by the 29th of this month.

Ok, time for a long winded critique on this shot.
I haven't given you one of these in such a long time, I am sure that you are getting tired of reading the same ol'e one line critiques that 99.9999999999% of the people leave. That doesn't really help with the learning process. Anyone who has a few minutes on their hands could take a bit longer to leave something more valuable than NICE SHOT>>LOVE THE COLORS>>>AWESOME>>>>ect....ect.

1) Composition

The ability you have to compose a shot that makes the viewer feel that they are standing right in the spot you are shooting from is nothing short of amazing.

The horizontial lines within the shot lead the eye perfectly through this shot.
You have placed the horizon line in the perfect position.

2) Lighting

You ability to control your exposure is top notch!
When viewers look into your portfolio...They will find a diverse array of shot types....be it night....day.....crossover.....and each will demonstrate your control.

I love the reflections in the water, the verticle lines created by the light reflections intertwine with the dark reflections of the tree line along the shore force the viewers eye through the entire shot rather than from spot to spot.

What brings this shot all together for me is.....

The brilliant color of the Sky.....it seems to frame the darker areas of the shot and bring the attention of the viewers eyes right into the intended subject and focal point.

This is right up there with you best Jefferson EVER!!!!

Well done brother!!!

Sam III
