About From 1899 to 1902, 26370 South African women and children died in horrible conditions in British concentration camps, during the scorched earth campaign in the Anglo-Boer War. Up until today, no formal apology has been issued by the British government.

This is the "Vrouemonument"(Women's monument) in Bloemfontein, in remembrance to all those women and children that died.

Excellent point of view, already a very interesting monument but it's even better when the photographer know how to 'use' the frame and the point of view - angle and here you add a lot using that lower and closed point of view, the result is amazing, really looks like HUGE... almost endless...touching the sky!
best regards!

Brilliant shot. A sad memorial but very well captured.
