Love the abstract sense of motion in this image. The vague shadows of trees evoke archetypal images from our deepest memories. Very attractive artwork, conducive to a meditative state.

Excellent!!!

You made a planar quasi-regular pattern with the appropriate dosis of chaos, Ian! And your f/22 made the motion blur look almost exclusively linear, under a strange kind of twilight. May I ask you at what time of the day this was?

And doesn't it have something more in its 90° clockwise rotated variant? (Attachment)

Cheers!

Nick

Rotated 90° clockwise

Gidday Nick!
Basically this is an ordinary low contrast grey day roadside seen at 50 k's
Love the variant! I am trying to animate like Dr Suess here, on your angle I see a little planetoid in the corner, Horton The Elephant's speck.

Nick Karagiaouroglou   {K:97881} 5/27/2008
So I unconsciously caught the egg planetoid? ;-) Thanks for telling me since I didn't even notice that, Ian! Too much sciene, I guess, and so I can only produce such things! ;-)

Thanks a lot for the additional info about the shot too!

Cheers!

Nick
