Well, I don't know anything about this event. But what I see here is very skillful photography in difficult conditions, especially because of the light. Perfect highlights and absolutely sharp. There's also a nice balance between the musician's head, the tambourine and the cymbal, each of which is illuminated.
I think this is excellent, and what I'm going to add now is not intended as a critique, just something else that you might consider. And that is perhaps reducing the "busyness" of the left side of the image, for example by cloning out the partial cymbal that has just crept in to the image. Just an idea...
