reminds me of Dr.Seuss with all the little curls on the ends...It is amazing what nature looks like from this perspective...I have never taken the time to look so close...Thanks Eb!

I like this one the best in this series. Composition and DOF fantastic

An interesting view here, Eb! I don't think I've seen this side of a dandelion before!

Excellent combination of shapes and forms. It's almost monochromatic art.

Cheers!

This is not a Dandelion! Dandelions are ugly and repulsive...not to mention invasive and obnoxious!

Last summer I paid the kids a penny for every 2 dandelion heads they picked. They made about $14 the first day...

Have you ever eaten Dandelion greens?

Eb Mueller   {K:22087} 5/20/2008
Kes, my grandchildren pick the heads for free! Don't know how long that would last. As far as eating the greens. I have tried it, but they have to be tender young shoots. I have also eaten the roots which taste much like chickory. They can also be roasted. The greens are also cultivated for salad, with the cultivated version likely to taste better.
