About I know I posted this one a few years back... but the truth is...... I have since lost all variation/form (s) of this pic. I deleted weeks and months and almost years of stuff from ages back. NOT on purpose... it just got away from me. So now, when I travel around and about places I was once and where there were pics of my passing... I stop and try to recreate those images. Originally this was titled "MOTHER" and it stood on its own. Still, today I re-snapped this pic. "MOTHER"... alone and lying on the praries of Illinois...

These are headstones piled up?

Jim Loy   {K:23439} 5/17/2008
Yes... some are "MOTHER" others say "FATHER" and still more claim: "SISTER" or "SON" and the occasional "DAUGHTER"... but in general they are without connection. They are piled and stacked. A testament to the years passing, time marching.... and the cemeteries of the Illinois prairie.

As sad a shot today as the first time you posted it. It continues to surprise me that the cemetery has been uprooted that way. Are the burials still intact?

I got your email re: a scan of Canadian money. Sorry - just haven't had a chance to do it yet. What's your deadline?

Jon
