About Grabbed the cameras just before sunset, with just enough time to fool around in the deep mud of Medicine lake. It has all most no water at this time of the year, because it drains out via a cave system channeling its way through the limestone, only to empty into much lower lakes far below in the Athabasca valley...This is great, as it makes for endless combinations of compositions, if you don't mind getting real muddy...all most like quicksand in places.

Great race for the light, Tim! I would say you won!

Rumor has it that certain mud is beneficial...oh, wait..."Medicine Lake" - never mind. :)

Tim...absolutely a brilliant shot! The way all of the natural lines bring the viewers eye through the scene is perfectly executed!! Wish I could have witnessed the same scene that you captured! Awesome! No single person could find any fault in this shot...I challenge them to...it's perfection in shooting! :)

Arguably the best of your Medicine Lake series, Tim! I find the drama of the foreground rocks fascinating!

Oh what a shot!!!!! This is really conveying the message of peace and tranquility. The image is so beautiful as if I can imagine I am standing in front this flowing water. Though the channel will flow towards the dark but the heavenly beauty of this channel will remain same and it will always carry the same message of peace everywhere it will go.
Again this is an excellent capture.
Cheers,
Ani
