A great moment captured.

Some detail lost in shadow - taken slightly into the sun? Anyhow, not enough to detract from the image, as there is still plenty of colour in the sail, and the form of the almost silhouetted rider is very distinct. Impressive stuff.

thanks for the comments, yes the light was challenging, and certainly not ideal, but there was plenty of action- so it made for some good photo opportunties.
