Wow, Tim, very interesting and dramatic foreground. I do envy your access to this scenery. "Though I would not be up to the strenuous hiking. As I said before, your photographic style does the Rockies perfect justice!

I see you got a D300, Tim, and it also looks as if you get the saturation you like out of it! Beautiful effect, here. How do you find it, otherwise? I have never been completely happy with the D200, and am wondering whether to upgrade. I am particularly bothered by the narrow dynamic range and wonder if you have used the D300's feature that is supposed to enhance shadow detail and preserve highlight detail...?
