Outstanding shot, perfect composition, awesome color, magic light, perfect focus, and the nest material tops it off, true work of art. 7++++

Jan Graziano   {K:16525} 5/18/2008
Ken and the others kinda said it all. Great shot. The background really allows the focus to be on the heron and the lighter leaves in the foreground makes this shot really jump off the screen and is an excellent complimentary contrast to the purple/blue of the heron. 7+ for sure. Jan

A beautiful composition and great colour in this one Darlene. I like the way your birds always seem to be doing something, instead of just sitting there. The stick in the beak is a really nice touch.

The image jumps off the screen at you! An image that almost looks like a painting in which the artist, you, really wanted the viewer to see the bird for it's beauty and grace. Rates a "WOW!" Thank you Darlene for sharing your artistry with us.
Regards. Bill Voizin
