Are you sure these are brothers, I have never met a male tortoise-shell cat, and have formed a little theory of my own. If these are brothers it blows my female only tortie theory.
They do look like they are having fun, their claws remain sheathed and their hackles are not raised, so it looks like playful sibling rivalry to me. I like the low light (Sunset??) and the neat, close composition. CC

Many thanks for your comment, Cathy. I can't be certain they are brothers, but there are five or six that all live together wild down by the port and appear to be the same age. I can't remember which are boys and which are girls though. I visit them quite often when I am in Tarifa and these two are often playing together. "Ginger Cats" is the same family at the same location.
Yes, the sun was close to setting and appeared just for a short while on what had been a very stormy day. In fact, the light is the same as that in "The Old Whaling Station", taken at the same time from the same location.

WoW ! These Cats are Big & I've nothing really to measure against ... they are also very good at play fighting or practice wrestling - You've caught and stopped the action with perfect timming - ha!!- I love the threat of the claw and the ears down - some serious stuff here :)) Excellent shot thru my eyes !
