hi.here is an other addition to express the misery of this world we live in and share.an exellent photo that express evry thing we dont want for ourselvs. hunger,poor.thirsty maybe,clothless,no education,bad or no health care,no guidance,and of most importace lossof hope and goal.as I see all these meaning in this exellent work.both boys are clothless,black&white express their misery extensivly,the trees behind them are leafless indecating fall or winter where there is a lack of crops, the grass behind them is bent and appears wild adding sadness to the seen.this is the aim and goal of photoghraphy i.e to transfer an honest true feeling and conditions of the people to the modern globalized world. WE WANT TO MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE AND SHARE.

este viejo cabrón siempre tiene en la chistera una buena foto; no estoy seguro de la fusión de ambas fotos con respecto al contraste, quizás las figuras de los niños debieran tener un contraste un poco más bajo, de cualquier forma notable alto rallando el sobresaliente como siempre, pero esto de poner notas a las fotografías me parece una solemne estupidez; un abrazo querido amigo

Hola Luis!, un excelente y emotivo trabajo, nuevamente rostros, pieles, texturas que se funden con el paisaje mostrando sonrisas pero al mismo tiempo tristes realidades.
Intensa y humanista a tu estilo!...:-)
En el extremo del perfeccionismo, coincido con Txules que hay un detalle entre la luz sobre el rostro de los niños y el fondo tan oscuro y ominoso que se siente un poco incomodo... Tal vez, y esto lo arriesgo sin estar seguro, le falte algo de sombra interior en los bordes especialmente de los rostros.
Coincido también que esto de transformarte de pronto en un jurado de concurso con notas incluidas, en aras de de una supuesta objetividad (existe la objetividad en el arte?...ja...ja...), que en definitiva no le debés a nadie, no es algo digno de un cabrón como vos… ;-)

Excellent work, Luis! It really has a very dramatic impact of lighting as the main spot is held so seriously on the two brothers while the depth vanishes into some kind of more and more fuzzy darkness - in parallel to the very limited possibilities and horizons that *we* produce for people outside typical career and success story. In case we want to make this misery visible... who produces that? Isn't that we ourselves??? Isn't it too easy to make it only visible but not really actively contribute for eliminating it? Each time I turn on the light for reading maths deep in the night I myself make it even harder for some brothers out there. Let's think of that too.
Photographically you are simply perfect here. There is nothing I could suggest as a bettering. This one goes into the images of the year, I guess!

It is a terrific image- terrific for what it shows and present it to us while we sit and do nothing in our too soft sofas! It is terrific in the sense that it is terrific- in the real meaning of it; for it terrifies me to see what and how those two young boys are! And, it is terrifying the idea of these two boys future!!
i think, this image needs no explanation for it shows all in the most powerful and striking manner!
