About chasing a storm along a cost of south brittany I had the chance to get there right on time to get this shot of the coming storm on the water.10 minutes later it was hell on earth!

This is a very moving, emotional and story-telling shot. The panoramic crop works well, the tone adds drama to the brooding cloud and the cross makes me imagine some poor soul who's last sight might have been a cloud just the same as this.
Technically, the blown-out area between the rain and cross is a real shame (though it seems almost unavoidable) and I can't quite decide if the grain adds or detracts. Please don't get me wrong - I think it's a very powerful image. Good work!
