Hi, Zeev. We don't see many sheep in Japan... few pastures big enough for them, I guess. In zoos they are marked "Dangerous animal, do not feed." I suppose the unfamiliar is always dangerous. What were you doing in the Caucassus? It seems something like Switzerland... This picture certainly makes it look attractive--and peaceful--although I know the latter is not always true.
