Simple and effective, Vandi! The overall dark appearance that inluded the left side of the screw too, makes it look like an invertion of the typical images of this style. The metallic reflections and good details were nonetheless kept very well visible under a good focus and well weighted lighting.

What about a combination with the inverted one? (Attachment). Salt and Pepper?

Cheers!

Nick

Inverted colors

Hmmm... or perhaps a combination with a more complete inversion including horizontal mirroring? Just thinking about the possibilities, and there are so many of them with such simple and strong images!

Nick

Another possibility

Hi Nick!
I try a variation here but is not my lucky day.

Thank you,
Vandi

I think it is your lucky day, Vandi! You generated depth out if flat elements, and that's very good! The image looks like a modern work of painting with the inclusion of a real 3D-object, namely the screw. Rather "peaceful" but also absorbing!

Quite interesting!

Cheers!

Nick
