The American Alligator has a large, slightly rounded body,It would be nice to see more sharpness, riny

It seems a little blurry to me Pam. Nice reflections nonetheless.

The eye is very nice, and the reflection of the teeth in the water are even better........however, the right edge of the picture (imo) is cut to close and distracts from the tooth. The reflection is very clear, but the gator itself seems washed out someone, I would try darkening a little. I love the reflections, those teeth in the water are awesome.

Thanks Marlyce I had to crop it so close on the right because there were blown high-lights on the edge. I appreciate the critique!

Thanks for commenting Julie! I didn't have my tripod readily available:)

Thanks Riny for commenting. I'm working on better technique (should have had my tripod)

Well, since you're digital, not having a tripod should never be an issue: just raise your ISO until you get a sufficiently fast shutter speed (1/250 or faster).

This looks like the Australian freshwater crocodile (not positive, though).
