Yes, we all have a purpose. Sometimes it's difficult to compare between your artistic shot and your selected poem. Having only one heart, I love both this time !

First of all I'm going to say how pleased I am to see someone reading the guidelines for a UF project and actually bothering to follow them.
Secondly, let's look at the picture. My preconception from the thumbnail suggested to me that I would find lots more crosses in lines behind, fading into the background. Perhaps a twinge of disappointment when I didn't, but only because I selfishly wanted my preconception to be fulfilled. What I think really makes this work is the focus on the weathered cross - why is it so much more weathered than the others? I've still got a niggling desire to see a little more depth in this image, but hey, I'm putting you on my friends list, so you're going to have to get used to my nit-picks and niggles!
AJ

A beautiful image and a beautiful premise, Julie. I feel that we do not give God enough of our trust in helping us find our way around this muddled up planet that we humans have crafted for ourselves, and that we are often blind to the purpose that He has intended for us, frequently because our own purposes are so self-centered and so limited in vision. When we see past ourselves we are much better at seeing our true purpose. Hugs to Canada, or NY. Anson

I couldn't agree more with your comment my dear friend. I attended a friend's wedding last weekend that made me think a lot about faith and religion and reading your comment made me think about it even more. I hope you are well, finally back in NY after a while in Canada. It was a fun trip despite the long ride back home. Thank you for stopping by my dear friend. Big hug, Julie.
