Wow! wonderful shadows here John, from the thumbnail I thought they were silhouette with clouds as the background. Double shadow because of the unusual stage lighting..

John, here's a great use of two lights creating this double shadow, one dark and the other darker. Great vision to start with. The background wall texture helps the B&W too. I like it very much my friend.

Fantastic use of light to create these 2 kinds of shadows and great mood, great wall texture ... stage shot ... you had 2 kinds (sources)of lights I suppose and you got great shot my friend !!!
