It's one of the best HDR image I've ever seen.
Would you like be so kind and post the original one, please.
Be well my friend,
Stan.

Dan Wilson   {K:13611} 7/7/2008
Hi Stan, thank you so much for your comment. Not sure of your question, this photo is made up from 3 different exposure settings, one underexposed one normal and the last overexposed. The original files are also RAW files straight from the cameras CCD. Here is the normal exposed shot

Keith  Growden   {K:20592} 7/7/2008
Amazing Dan. So much detail. If i knew someone in one of those house, id be able to recogise them :)). Is that one tree hill in the distance?
:)

Peter De Rycke   {K:39357} 7/7/2008
Very dramatic Dan, that is the first thing that strikes me .. the sky helping a lot here .. you got fantastic depth in your scene too .. perhaps my only critique would be that large chunk of under-exposed landscape in the foreground, that might have been little lighter .. regards, Peter

Dan Wilson   {K:13611} 7/8/2008
Hi dear Ania, yes the HDR certainly worked well here to show more contrast in the sky

Dan Wilson   {K:13611} 7/8/2008
Ha ha ha, you are classic Keith, in more than one way ;-). No it is not, so maybe you don't know someone in one of those houses ;-). It is the mountain at Devonport

Dan Wilson   {K:13611} 7/8/2008
Thank you very much Peter for you valued Critique, yes I agree about the foreground. I still struggle at times with the HDR process at times it works so easily and other times it just doesn't work right no matter how much adjusting. I also feel myself that the rest of the image is lacking contrast. The only part I was really happy with was the result shown in the Sky and Clouds.

Keith  Growden   {K:20592} 7/8/2008
Well, i know someone over there :)) Where is the sheep? I like the ones with the black faces.

Dan Wilson   {K:13611} 7/8/2008
Well I know that, but not in that direction ;-). I am sure you like sheep, I bet you have some velcro gloves from when you lived over here, ha ha ha ha. :)))))))))))
