About While hiking through a lovely trail in a redwood forest at Stillwater Cove Regional Park in Sonoma County, California, I couldn't help but notice my two Jack Russell Terriers (Sugar & Opie) who had the most delightful expressions on their faces - surely a sign of their happiness with their environment. These two little cuties are the loves of my life. :)

They are paying close attention to you and the camera. My dogs are not as good for posing. I like the red doggie coat. These would be a pair to draw to! Glad that you get out and hike. So much to see and the redwoods are so humbling.
Be well, Stan

Hi Stan, you should see the noises I have to make to get their attention for a shot and if I don't shoot fast, then I won't get another chance. Usually I am careful not to make those strange loud sounds when others are around or I may get more than just the dogs to pay attention to me.. lol. I love your play on my "pair of jacks" statement. Yours wins the prize!! Thanks so much for your friendly visit and comments - they mean a lot to me! Have a great day! -Brigitte
