About Taken on Memorial day weekend, cloudy and raining, snow at upper elevations and some interesting people wandering around the park. This is an awesome falls and I have always been attracted to it. My first digital pictures of it. Hope you like it as well, Stan

Very impressive landscape Stan. It has all the elements and you have captured them very well. Also, I appreciate the background info you provide.

Joe

Thanks Saad, this was taken after it had stopped raining. It was still a wonderful day to get to experience the sights and sounds of the power of the water.
Be well, Stan

Thanks Joe, I appreciate your comments and taking the time to read the about. Just seems to give the capture some personal touch. The close overlook was closed for reconstruction so I was further back from the falls than I have been before.
Be well, Stan

Great view of these falls, Stan! I like the way you've captured the mist around the base of the falls.
Dave.

What a beautiful place. I was there last summer, and have a similar photo posted as well. I like the snow on it. Very nice.

Stan  Hill   {K:12822} 7/10/2008
Thanks Dave, it was cold enough that the mist was hanging there most of the time I was on the overlook. I love this view in the canyon, a favorite place of mine.
Be well, Stan

Rose, I am sure we were not too original on capturing this falls, but as you know it pulls you to it like the sirens did to Ulysses. The grip of winter was still on the park that week. We got summer in the very end of June. Long winter this year.

Thanks Erland, enjoy sharing the beauty around me, not many hot babes in close proximity so Mom earth gets a workout.
Be well and thanks, Stan

One great shot Stan. I have always wanted to go there. It makes my falls pictures look puny. Bruce

This is a great spot and the canyon is full of colors. If ever in Montana let me know for as a tour guide I am skilled and inexpensive. Thanks for the comment.
Be well my friend, Stan
