I find those excellent tones very strong - as strong as a drawing on pergament from the middle ages, Kiarang! And this fits very well the minimalistic composition. Perhaps some more enhancement of the stairs' contours could add amore striking look and feel, though this way the very light (but *not* soft) contours produce a gain in performance, considering the overall drawing-like look.
Surely another very carefully shot photo, which conveys much without too many words.
